So, I built myself a bike.
In last weekend’s competitions, the three Helsinki based teams did pretty much what was expected of them and swept home the silverware. With two competitions and two shows over the same weekend, there was a fair amount of editing going on this past week.
While I’m busy working on some more competition shots from last weekend, I give you this.
It’s been fun hanging around at competitions after so much of a break from shooting. Starting to get myself dialed in again.
To be honest, I’m not used to stuff being under embargoes for extended periods of time. In my day job, yes, in hobbies, no. Anyway, I believe these should now be OK to go.
Incidentally, I just sold my last remaining underwater photo kit today. Time to move on, I suppose.
I have not died or gone underground. I’ve just bee shooting some rather different kind of stuff.
I’ve had some sort of a presence in the Web since 1992 or 1993 when I put my skills to test to create some ”hypermedia” using this WWW thing. Since then, I have published maybe about 9 versions of my web pages. This time around, I was not supposed to code. You know, just pick a nice WordPress theme and install. Easy and fast. Well, that was not to be. Seems I just cannot resist tweaking almost anything I touch. Even if it is just a little bit.
To tell you the truth, I was actually thinking to stay offline for a bit longer this time around, being as I do not have that much new to publish from recent times. The usual excuses. I do, however, have some plans. Let’s see how they pan out.
